I've been meaning to do a post like this for a while, but I had never gotten to it because it was difficult determining what my 'essentials' were. As a student by day and blogger by afternoon, I needed different things for different occasions, but I've finally found the items that allow my days as a school kid and 'influencer' to go ahead. Without further a due, here are my daily essentials...
A Timepiece | First up on my list is a timepiece. Whether, analog, digital or smart, a watch is not only a fantastic accessory but is necessary for making sure you are punctual. Watches can also be a fantastic conversation starter, as a lot of people see watches as a sign of wealth and status, however this does not mean you need a high-end designer timepiece. Beautiful timepieces like this one from my great friends from Blaax won't break your bank and will definitely take your outfit to the next level.
A Note Book | I personally find that writing down notes and dates helps me memorise it more than just typing it into Google Calendar or whatever. Yes, it may be a burden to carry around, I believe that it's beneficial for the man who takes pride in organisation. Plus, you look pretty bloody cool when you pull out for leather note pad and Mont Blanc fountain pen. My note book was bought at Typo and it's getting me through the year without any troubles (so far).
A Leather Case | Since I'm always on the go and wandering around town, I need something to actually hold my laptop, notes or whatever I'm carrying around. I've chosen a leather case because they're really durable so they'll last you for an eternity but they're also pretty damn stylish, so it's a win-win. You may have seen this carrying case from Mr.Elk a few times in my posts, simply because it's my personal favourite and is definitely getting its use.
A Bottle of Cologne | Quite an important part of presenting yourself is actually your smell. You can be wearing a nice tailored suit which may look good from a distance, but once a person comes up to you and smells your body odour, their appreciation for you vanishes and they want to get away from you as quickly as possible. So before I go out I like to spray on a alluring fragrance to draw others towards me, as a nice scent gains the attention of those around you. I was wearing Burberry for a while but have recently switched to David Beckham's new RESPECT fragrance, which I'm quite enjoying so far.
A Good Cup of Coffee | I don't think I'd be able to start or get through my day without a good ol' cup of coffee. Seriously, as bad as it sounds, coffee turns me from the walking dead to a man who is ready to seal the deal. I'm sure a lot of people can relate. My favourite order? well it depends how I'm feeling and on the day, a hot latte is the go-to to wake me up, but a warm chai latte sweetens up my afternoons!
